Momoland (모모랜드) is a 6-member South Korean kpop girl group formed by MLD Entertainment through the survival show Finding Momoland. The group debuted on November 10, 2016 and has 6 members: Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin, and Nancy. Former members include Yeonwoo and Taeha (both left in 2019) and Daisy (left in 2020).

MOMOLAND NAME MEANING
The name Momoland comes from the novel titled Momo by Michael Ende, whose main character gives hopes and dreams to people, and from the word Land, which represents a place where fans can go to play and rest (like an amusement park).

The official fandom name of Momoland is Merry-Go-Round, which is a play on words on the name Momoland. Merry-Go-Round represents the ride that people who usually can’t go on other rides can go to. It also means that once you get on, you can’t get off.
