2014 famille perrin gigondas la gille

Natalie"s Score: 92/100

Such a consistently well-made wine from the south of France: full-bodied, savoury and delicious! Aromas of cedar, wild blaông chồng cherry and forest floor. A classic French red wine for hedonists. Polished tannins, excellent length, depth and breadth of flavour. Great replays on the palate. This is a traditional blkết thúc of Rhone Valley grapes, including Syrah, Grenabịt and Mourvèdre. Pair with lamb and rosemary.

review and Ratings

Rachelle O'Connor rated this wine as 92/100 with the following review:A blover of classic Rhone varietals - Grenabịt, Mourvedre & Syrah. Full bodied và a whachồng of flavor on the palate - kirsch, gaminess, floral, blaông chồng cherry - all harmoniously tied into a well balanced, elegant and "full of character" wine that is quite quite a bargain at the less than $30 price tag.

Monique Sosa - Accredited Sommelier rated this wine as 91/100 with the following review:A lovely smooth and rich Gigondas showing superb layers of stewed plum, dark chocolate, sweetened tobacco, & winter spice notes. A full-bodied red blover (Syrah-based) with juicy balanced acidity, developed tannins & a long finish. Pair with braised lamb shanks and cornbread. Tasted Sept 2017 by
